Western Brisbane · termite barriers and treatment

A straight explanation before anyone asks for your phone number.

SEQ Service Quotes is being built to introduce western Brisbane owners to licensed termite businesses. It is not a pest controller, it does not inspect houses, and it does not diagnose timber damage. The quote form is closed.

Compare inspection, barrier and baiting

Three different jobs

Inspection

A look for evidence and conditions, not a treatment. A pre-purchase timber pest inspection and an inspection of an existing management system are different jobs.

What an inspection covers

Barrier

A chemical or physical system meant to deter concealed entry. Queensland rules for replenishment, and a durable notice, matter more than a single “from” price.

Barriers and what they do not do

Treatment and baiting

For reported activity, or for a baiting and monitoring proposal. This site will not tell you that you have termites.

Treatment, baiting and monitoring

One supplier’s advertised figures, not an average

Jets Pest Control’s Brisbane and Ipswich price page, read in full for the 8 November 2026 research memo, advertises a 1–4 bedroom inspection at $285, a standard-house barrier from $3,960, baiting from $2,200 including year-one monitoring, and monitoring from $660 a year. Those are that supplier’s offers. They are not a western Brisbane average, and the memo does not say whether GST is included.

Adding that barrier figure to two inspections at the advertised inspection price gives $4,530. That sum is our arithmetic for a planning scenario. It is not a package Jets advertises, not a measured lifetime value, and not a SEQ Service Quotes fee.

Guides that keep the jobs apart

A tight territory, not a page for every street

The Queensland Government Statistician’s Office recorded Brisbane local government area population at 1,375,301 on 30 June 2025. That is the whole LGA, not the western suburbs, and it is not a count of termite jobs. This service only routes the Australia Post codes listed on the locations page. Ipswich is outside that list.

How an introduction would work later

  1. You would choose inspection, barrier, treatment, baiting, or “not sure”.
  2. You would give a name, a phone or email, a postcode and a short description. Not a street address.
  3. Sharing consent would start unticked, name the businesses, and state the maximum number. Marketing would be a separate unticked box.
  4. If no verified business covered the postcode and service, the worker would say so and would not keep the contact details.
  5. Notifications are mocked and dry-run. This build cannot email or text a business.
